One question gives the review a purpose#

We begin by agreeing on the decision the work should help you make. We might examine whether a website needs a rewrite or a rebuild, how to explain an expanded service, or where a small marketing budget would be most useful.

We define the materials we will review before we start. Depending on the question, these might include your main website pages, customer inquiries, email activity, search information, or sales materials. We use the evidence available and identify what it cannot tell us.

What happens during the review#

We first talk through the business: what you sell, who buys, what people ask before they commit, and where you see the problem. We ask for the relevant materials and any performance information you already have. We do not need you to prepare a polished presentation.

We then examine the agreed materials and develop written findings. We distinguish between problems we can observe, explanations worth testing, and questions that need more information. Our recommendations take account of who will do the work and what the business can maintain.

We finish with a review conversation. We walk through the priorities, discuss the tradeoffs, and agree on the next useful steps. We explain what can be handled internally and where additional writing, design, research, or technical help may be needed.

What we need from you#

We need a person who can explain the business and make decisions about the next steps, access to the agreed materials, and time for the opening and review conversations. If the necessary information is missing, we agree on whether gathering it belongs in this review or a separate piece of work.

Scope and investment#

We quote the review as a defined piece of work before it begins. The fee reflects the question, the number of materials or channels involved, and the research required. The proposal names the deliverables, dates, and responsibilities. It does not commit you to a redesign or ongoing support.

We can carry the recommendations into a website project , brand and messaging work , or ongoing marketing support . You can also use the findings with your own team.

Tell us which marketing decision you are facing .
